Payment Terms

All bookings are paid in full at the time of booking. Your stay is not confirmed until this fee is received and paid.

Cancellation Policy

  • 14 Days or More: Changes or cancellations made 14 days or more prior to the booking date will receive a full refund.

  • 7–14 Days: Changes or cancellations made within 7–14 days of the booking date will incur a fee of 50% of the booking total. A full refund will be issued if we rebook the nights (minus a $50 processing fee).

  • Less Than 7 Days: Changes or cancellations made less than 7 days before the booking date will be charged the full booking amount. A full refund will be issued if we rebook the nights (minus a $50 processing fee).

Group Bookings

Group bookings are subject to stricter cancellation policies. Please contact us directly to discuss the details of your group reservation.

All changes or cancellations must be communicated via email to ensure proper handling (stay@thelibertyinn.ca).

Children & Families

Never leave children unsupervised or unattended. Guests are wholly responsible for the safety and security of their children at all times. Many of the windows in our old building have lower thresholds than today’s modern buildings, creating fall hazards. The windows are operational, but we do not recommend opening them. Please ensure children old enough to open a window are aware not to do so. Guests assume all risks associated with their use. Bruno Roldan Inc. will not be held liable for any injury or harm including death due to guest negligence or accident.

Additionally, children under the age of 14 are not allowed in the woodland spa at any time, and are not allowed to operate the steam showers or infrared saunas.

Noise Complaints & Quiet Hours

This is a place of rest and renewal for ALL our guests and noise complaints and disruptions will be addressed and dealt with promptly. Designated quiet time is between 9pm-7am. If there is a noise complaint associated with a guest (or guests), the entire damage deposit from the associated booking(s) may be withheld in order to refund the affected guests. Penalties are fairly assessed at the sole discretion of the Liberty Inn.

Guests & Visitors

The number of guests present (adults and children) during your stay must not exceed the maximum number allowable indicated on your booking. ALL guests and vehicles must be registered prior to arrival. This is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone. Permission must be requested and approved for any visitors, regardless of the duration of the visit, before arrival. Please remember that we are a small inn, not a large hotel, and therefore subject to lower occupancy limits. Any visitation by family, friends, photographers, etc. is at the sole discretion of the Liberty Inn so please chat with us ahead of time and before inviting anyone who is not on the booking confirmation. Visitors are not allowed in the private woodland spa at any time.

All guests and visitors must comply with our rules, regulations and policies regarding use of facilities and noise limits.

Additionally, no visitors are allowed on the property past 8pm, and any unauthorized vehicles will be towed at this time at the owners expense.

Check-in & Check-Out

We have implemented a contactless check-in and check-out process that is easy, convenient, and safe. You will receive check-in details by email the day before your arrival. Should you require assistance at the time of arrival our on-site staff are only a text or phone call away.

Check-In and Check-Out Time:

• Check-In: Between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM.

• Check-Out: By 10:00 AM.

Early check-in and late check-out may be accommodated for an additional fee, subject to availability (please note this is not guaranteed). As a boutique inn with a limited number of suites, we require this time to ensure each room is thoroughly prepared for the next guest’s arrival.

Pets

We welcome small and medium-sized dogs up to 50lbs in our Florian Suite ONLY. Under zero circumstances are pets allowed in any of the other suites. Pets MUST be indicated on the original booking. A one-time $40 pet cleaning fee will apply to your stay. Out of consideration for our staff and other guests, we reserve the right to refuse accommodations to dogs who are untrained, aggressive, or are otherwise causing disturbance to other guests.

We require that all pets stay off the furniture and be leashed and under control at all times when outside on the property. Owners are also required to clean up after their pets. Note that pets are NOT to be left unattended overnight or anywhere on the property.

Smoking

The Liberty Inn is a smoke free zone, Period. Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the property (except in the parking lot). Without exception, ANY smoking or vaping indoors or in the spa area will result in a damage deposit fee of $500.

Cleaning

Each suite is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized prior to arrival. We do not impose a cleaning fee on our guests, so we kindly ask you to keep your space tidy. Please note that we DO NOT offer a traditional turn-down service, however guests are welcome to contact us if they require fresh bedding or towels at any point. Guests staying longer than 3 nights are also welcome to request additional cleaning service during their stay.

Breakfast

We do not have a formal dining room, however each suite is equipped with it’s own kitchenette and dining area, and we are happy to offer breakfast items that guests can prepare in their own suite. If you require re-stocking of any of these items during your stay please just send us a message through the text-concierge. Please note at this time we are unable to accommodate dietary restrictions. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions we recommend you contact us prior to consuming any of the items provided in suite to inquire about ingredients.

Guest Assistance

Our office is located at the back of the inn, next to the lockers. As a small team, we are in and out throughout the day but always available to assist you. For your convenience, you can reach us via our text concierge system, which operates daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. For urgent matters outside of these hours, an after-hours emergency number is provided to ensure your needs are promptly addressed.

Scent-Aware Environment

We understand that many people are sensitive to scents and may react adversely to certain scents and cleaning products. Because of this we aim to be very transparent with the cleaning products we use. While we do not guarantee a scent-free environment, we do offer a scent-aware environment. We do not use any products with artificial fragrance added. All linens are cleaned with scent-free detergents plus a diluted bleach solution (as needed), and we never use fabric softeners. The majority of in-suite hard-surface cleaning is completed with water, vinegar, baking soda, and a mild all purpose cleaner (from Canadian Company Je Suis Pure). Our hand and body products are all natural, Made in Canada, scented with only pure essential oils. Each suite comes with a diffuser containing a few drops of our signature fragrance made of pure essential oils for guests to enjoy during their stay. However, if you are sensitive to fragrance, just let us know and we will make sure that our cleaning team does not turn on the diffuser before your stay . If you have any questions about any of the products we use, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Damages

The client agrees that any damages resulting from any guests associated with the booking up to $500 to be charged to the corresponding credit card from the initial booking. All bookings are subject to an authorized damage fee of up to $500, applied as needed within 48 hours after checkout. Penalties are fairly assessed at the sole discretion of the Liberty Inn.

Liability

Please note that guests of The Liberty Inn take full responsibility for their own safety, security and health as well as that of any visitors or dependants who may accompany them. Bruno Roldan Inc. shall not be held liable for any accident, injury or medical mishap nor for any direct or indirect damages or harm caused or sustained as a consequence of use. This includes but may not be limited to damages, insurance, loss due to fire, theft, and misconduct.
